BROOKLYN: A person of interest is in custody after a Brooklyn shooting left one man critically wounded in the head and another shot in the arm on Wednesday.
According to police, it happened at 12:15 p.m. at 511 Thatford Ave. in Brownsville.
A 28-year-old man was shot in the head after he was approached by the suspect on an e-scooter, according to police. At some point, the suspect then shot a 29-year-old man in the right arm.
The assailant then fled northbound towards Riverdale Avenue.
He is described as being in his 20s and was seen wearing a white shirt and blue shorts, police said.
Both victims were taken to Brookdale University Hospital.
It is unclear what predicated the shooting at this time.
The investigation is ongoing.
