STATEN ISLAND: Police officers descended on Victory Boulevard in Tompkinsville Tuesday evening after a report of a shooting.
Police roped off the busy street between Bay Street and St. Marks Place as they investigated.
They also roped off part of Van Duzer Street.
According to emergency radio transmissions, the incident was reported just before 6 p.m.
