MANHATTAN: Three men repeatedly slashed a man in Times Square on Tuesday night after claiming he encroached on their “corner,” police said.
“This is our corner,” the trio told the man before slashing him with an unknown object around 8:40 p.m. at W. 42nd Street and Seventh Avenue, according to police.
The victim suffered slash wounds to his stomach, back and shoulder.
He was taken to Bellevue Hospital and is expected to survive.
Video from WABC shows a heavy police presence outside the busy Times Square–42nd Street subway station, where the suspects fled after the brazen attack.
All three of them were still being sought Wednesday.
